Our story

Our adventure began ten years ago, with a group of friends who shared the same passion: Ecuador, our country of birth or adoption. We first introduced our family and friends to the country, before establishing a lasting partnership with a French travel agency. Since then, we’ve welcomed travellers from all walks of life, and they’ve all left with something extra in their hearts.

PASSION

A multicultural team made up of Europeans and Ecuadorians who share the same love for this country and the desire to help others discover it. A deep knowledge of the different communities enables our guides to play above all the role of facilitators of exchange and sharing between the cultures of the travellers and those of the communities visited.

EXPERTISE

Over 10 years’ experience in organizing alternative and immersive trips. We take particular care to establish a relationship of trust with our partners, and work together to co-construct our tours. We also make it a point of honor to ensure the safety of our travelers, so that they can enjoy their experience in complete peace of mind.

Wakiy Tour & Aboriginal Communities

Our team is based in Cuenca, in the south of the Andes mountains in Ecuador. We are particularly attached to the south of the country, which is often less visited than the provinces around the capital Quito.

We prefer to be close to the communities so that we can maintain a relationship of trust and visit them as often as possible. But we know the whole of Ecuador like the back of our hand.

As we have built our adventure together, we have developed a special relationship with certain communities.
